"Thank you for your inquiry! For Spyder's women sizing, a size 4 would actually be a size small according to the Sizing Chart . We would advise that you go with your direct measurements to find the size you would wear and then choosing pants or a jacket that is one size bigger. This is to accommodate layering underneath the pants depending on your skiing conditions. I hope this information helps! "

"Thank you for your question. According to the Obermeyer Size Chart Obermeyer's size 12 pants are half an inch wider in the waist and hip area than the size 12 in Spyder pants. I have also included the Spyder Size Chart for a better comparison. I hope this information helps!"
