With full-grain leather construction, the Obermeyer Leather Mitt is a throwback, but back in the day mountaineers never had it this good. First off the synthetic "Guide"-style construction provides extra warmth in any weather with more insulation on the back of the hand, allowing the palm-side to be a little thinner. Paired with the pre-curved finger shape you wind up with more warmth and dexterity at the same time. The full-grain leather construction ensure serious durability, and thanks to the included wrist leashes serious safety too.
