I bought this since it was petite and am glad I did. It fits well. It is fitted but not tight. It is not too long in the torso like non-petite jackets. It is warm but not bulky. I love all the pocket options. I like a hood option but I also like that it comes off when needed. So far no complaints.
I love this jacket! From the minute I saw it I knew it had to be mine. It's super warm and well-made. The poppy color is so unique... very bright but not a traditional red. Lots of functional pockets too.
My somewhat picky son really likes this coat. I was impressed by the quality for price.
Finally, I found a jacket that is both warm and comfortable. Fits perfectly and if needed, I can wear a hoodie underneath. I wear a large shirt and bought a size 14. I've received numerous compliments on this jacket. Not to mention all the pockets are a huge plus!
I bought these pants and I'm very happy with them. They have a lot of pockets and good details that come in handy. The only con that I found is that I don't have some kind of hook or loop where you can attach your lift card. Also, these pants are low-rise which, for me at least, is not so comfortable. I solved it by wearing suspenders which actually made them look pretty cool.
Otherwise, they are flattering, nice detailing and they keep you warm without needing to wear heavy-weight bottoms underneath. Light to medium baselayers were just fine for me in 10-15 degree cold.
This jacket is first-rate! We are very impressed with the overall quality and we really love the aesthetic of the jacket. (We purchased the jacket in the true red color.) We purchased a size 10 for our eight year-old and it fits him wonderfully, with just enough room to grow.
My last Obermeyer purchase was an 'I grow" coat and ski pants for my very active daughter when she was eight. I'm thrilled to report she aggressively enjoyed the gear for three years on the slopes, sledding, and in general play. The coat and pants took a serious beating and still look great in their fourth season. (Unfortunately she's outgrown them!)
I tell everyone I know to purchase this product - the quality is fantastic and it's truly a bargain when you cost it out over several years.
We just purchased this coat so I'm expecting the quality and durability will be the same
as our previous purchase. The coat will certainly be put to the test with my extremely active 8 year old son.
Matches the Obermeyer jacket beautifully. And has a fun look for boys :-). Easy to pick out your child with this hat! The hat must be slightly big for my 5 year old as it does twist around a little bit once in a while. But overall very nice.
I purchased this jacket this week in an XL. The fit seems to be accurate when compared to my other extra large jackets. The material is very nice and it has all the pockets and vents that should ever be necessary. The blue is the same as some other company's current year models. This is an awesome jacket.
Jacket arrived promptly and in perfect condition. Fit was larger than I expected but that might be a manufacturing issue. Obermeyer makes great stuff for kids, esp. with the I Grow system that makes a garment wearable for years!
