A long-time favorite from 686, this tri-climate system gives them a protective outer jacket with a warm insulator that can be worn together or sperate based on their needs. The outer jacket is made with a 2-layer infiDRY® fabric that’s rated at 10K waterproof and has a DWR coating and critically taped seams to block out the elements. It’s also insulated, which means they’ll be plenty warm with 120g of Comfortzone Body Mapping in the body and 80g in the sleeves and hood. It also has all those mountain-ready features he needs like a helmet-compatible hood, adjustable cuffs, and tons of pockets for his essentials. The Smarty 3-in-1 also comes with a removable SMARTY® Fleece jacket that’s perfect for nights in the village or even as a year-round jacket.
