"Great jacket. I love it."

For the price it is amazing quality. It is quite versatile for most weather situations. Venting for when it is hot. Lift ticket pocket is great. Hand sleeves are awesome an you can wear them or not depending on the conditions. A+++

"Nice fit, good material, warm"

I am looking for skinny ski pants for a while. I really like this pant, the color. However, I am 5’3”, 125 lb, therefore, XS is a little bit too tight and S is too long for me. Have to return it. Another thing I do not like this pant is that there are not vents.

"Well worth it!"

I bought the jacket for my 13 year old son. He is 5'5" and 115 pounds. I chose the large and it has enough room for a sweatshirt under it and still be comfortable with jumping/tricks on the snowboard. Living in Minnesota with sub zero wind chills, the jacket kept him warm. Needs to have wrist gaitors and then it would be a 5/5. We bought the orange.

"All around nice jacket..."

All around the jacket is nice. Looks, build and weatherproofing are fine. The biggest drawbacks are the fit of the hood and the arm pits. In both of those areas, the fit could have been a bit roomier. When wearing a helmet the hood stretches tight and the brim does not come down to the front of your helmet. Also there is a need for a bit more room in the arm pits, even without layering, it just feels a bit tight. Also wish they would have put in a goggle / sunglass pocket. But in this price range, you probably won't get anything much better.

"zipper broke!"

I bought this jacket and the zipper broke! I was on the top of the mountain with my jacket unzipped freezing! I sent it back to 686 who said they fixed the jacket but it gets stuck either up or down every time I unzip it! also the custom art work bled all over my fleece! I would not recommend.

"Be warned, Big Sizing"

I haven't been near the snow in these puppies yet but I'm counting down the days to a season in Japan (currently in the hot end of Australia so super hyped for some snowy mountains!!). Love these pants for option of layering, zip out thermal liner is a bonus for someone who gets cold real fast.
My last pants were from Westbeach and I found the medium a good fit (I'm an Aussie size 10, think thats a US 6), room to move but not hanging off my bum. The 686 Smarty medium pants however are enormous on me! Big in the butt, big in the legs and really long.

"Excellent!! "

I really loved the jacket, and for this price it's a screaming deal. It am XS and it sits great, I think if you are in between S and XS it may be a bit tight - it has room for shoulders but asking for a small waist. The jacket has duck down and very warm and well done. I get cold easily and I think finally I am settling down with this jacket. It has inside pockets, very convenient, a bit less then usually 686 has. The hood is very comfortable and leaves a lot of room, there's also a built-in cap that can be removed. I really like that idea, because during a break from snowboarding, I don't like taking my face mask down. So this cap has wide cover and sits nicely on short hair (I think cap size says 6.5). External pockets are simple for warming up hands, and also jacket has connections to clip to the pants. Jacket is relatively short, but I really like because long jackets come up when I ride fast. So this one has a great length and is super comfortable. The connections for pants are detachable, which is great for regular wear.
So if you are looking for a jacket that will protect you from cold and have a cap always handy to protect skin from the sun - this is it.
