Enhanced performance can come with ease of use when you’ve got the Burton Step On® X Re:Flex Snowboard Bindings. They use the Step On® system, integrating your Step On®-compatible boots directly into the structure of the binding, eliminating the need to strap in and letting you go straight from the lift to the downhill. And on the downhill you’ll enjoy efficiency too, only this time it comes from what you have instead of what you don’t. Infused with carbon fiber in addition to the standard fiberglass, the single-component baseplate and hi-back acts as a powerful connection between you and your board, letting you put more power down in any conditions.

"Thanks for the question. The X has a baseplate and highback that are 50% nylon/50% Carbon as opposed to the nylon/fiberglass mixes in the other models. Having the carbon makes the bindings lighter, but more importantly quicker reacting edge to edge. If you like a super fast, aggressive feel the X is your binding, if you want a little smoother, easier feel then the Standard or Genesis StepOn bindings will be better for you."
