The Sierra Insulated Ski Jacket is made from BG Tech waterproof and breathable fabric, with 15K ratings for both on the core and 10K on the hood. This ski jacket hits slightly above the hips for a shorter, trendier cut, and it’s filled with 100g of Primaloft® Black Eco, a lightweight and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional down. The Boulder Gear Sierra Insulated Ski Jacket will keep you dry and warm this winter, no matter where the season takes you.

"I’m trying to decide between a few ski jackets. Why does this jacket only have a 6/10 warmth rating but in the Key Points description it is described as having lots of insulation and “super warm?”
To me, an 8/10 or 9/10 rating is super warm. Can you explain this please? "

"Thank you for your inquiry. The Boulder Gear Sierra Insulated Ski Jacket (Women's) is great for temperatures 15°-30°F and has a warmth rating of 6/10. The warmth rating is rated by temperatures and this jacket does have insulation, but would not be recommended for temperatures below 15°. We hope this information helps. "
