By putting the boots in the ventilated, tarpaulin-lined exterior pockets you not only allow them to dry on the way home, but you also protect things like your goggles and helmet on the inside, while a closed-cell foam panel on the back protects your back. The whole thing is made from burly 1680D ballistic nylon, and if that's somehow not enough the whole thing has been treated with a water repellent finish for even more durability.
