Style: 41040920

Designed to help you access parts of the mountain where the lifts don't go, the Stockli Stormrider 88 Skis are designed for dealing with the deepest powder. To do that, they feature early rise rocker in the nose of the ski, helping you stay on top of the soft stuff and improving the skis overall turn dynamics. But when you're earning your turns it's as much about the uphill as the downhill, so the Light Core uses a blend of woods designed to help you save grams without compromising performance. Even the laminates, be it weight-saving Thin Glass or the Titanal Technology that smooths out the ride, helps speed your trip to the top while improving performance on the way back down.

  • Rocker in the front shovel of the ski improves soft-snow performance and reduces the effort necessary to turn the ski
  • Full-length Light Core uses a blend of woods including fuma or balsa, giving this ski dynamic response and reduced weight
  • Titanal Technology uses a metal laminate to reinforce key areas of the ski, improving durability and response
  • Profile: Rocker
  • Waist Width: 88
  • Bindings Included: Not Included
  • Design: Freeride
  • Large camber section underfoot through the tail maintains a high level of stability, traction, and power
  • Sandwich Sidewall Construction layers multiple core elements together, improving energy transfer and durability
  • Solid Metal Edge Light provides oversized dimensions for improved durability and sharpening, but reduces internal size for reduced weight
  • Thin Glass Laminate cuts weight without cutting performance
  • Ultra durable Polywall sidewalls also provide a dampening effect for a smoother ride in rough conditions

"If I buy Stöckli Stormrider 88 186cm skis w/ Solomon Sth2 WTR13 bindings, will you mount them and ship them and how much ?"

Question by Rob on 2/8/2019 - 12:31 pm
"Thank you for your inquiry. You would need to take them into our store to be mounted and adjusted, we do not mount bindings before shipping them. This must be done in person by a certified ski technician before use. We hope this information helps!"

"Hi, I am thinking about Stormrider 88 for EAST all mountain ski. How good does this ski holds on ice? "

"Thank you for your inquiry. The edging of the "Stockli Stormrider 88 Ski (Men's)" appears sufficient enough to hold well on ice. Another suggested ski you may want to take a look at is the "Blizzard Brama 88." We hope this answer helps with your Peter Glenn selection and purchase."

"Would this ski be good for occasional touring with Salomon Shift MNC binding's? I would use it as all mountain East/West ski but would go touring sometimes. I ski Stockli Laser CX for groomed/ice and would like to complete my quiver with this ski. Thanks"

Question by JM on 6/19/2020 - 2:27 pm
"Yes, it is fine to use these skis for touring as long as the Salomon Shift MNC Binding has a 90 brake on it. This is a highly rated ski. We hope this information helps!"

"Yes, this is the current model Winter of 2019 to 2020 that we have in stock. We would recommend the Marker Griffon 13 ID 90 Ski Binding. We hope this information helps!"
