"How does the Spyder Fresh Air Softshell Jacket compare to The North Face Denali Jacket? What is the North Face Apex Bionic Jacket in terms of warmth?"

Question by Mike M on 1/2/2014 - 10:47 pm
"The Spyder Fresh Air Softshell Jacket is made out of a stretch fabric and is water resistant. The jacket provides a moderate amount of warmth, and is good for cool-mild temperatures. The North Face Denali Jacket is made from fleece and is not water resistant. It also has zippers to release the heat from the jacket. "
Answer by Katie (Peter Glenn Staff) on 1/3/2014 - 11:15 am
"How much cold can this jacket withstand. If I were to stand in 10 deg weather without moving, would I get cold in my core and shiver or would I be comfortable? I want to purchase this for winter weather, not for skiing."

Question by Adam on 1/27/2014 - 8:00 pm
"This is a lightweight jacket, we have only given it a warmth rating of 2/10 so for temps that low, you would not be warm with just this jacket on. You would need to use this as a layering piece to wear with your regular winter jacket in temps that low. This jacket is best on it's own for temps that are in the upper 40's-50's. "
