"Does this mean it is really warm? "60g PrimaLoft® Sport insulation". I get cold easily and have trouble warming up? If not, what is the BEST Spyder jacket for warmth?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Linda Flowers on 12/4/2011 - 11:41 pm
"PrimaLoft® is a low profile insulation, so you don't need as much of it to stay just as warm as say 120g of another type of insulation. 60g of PrimaLoft® is about a medium warmth. Spyder offers 140g of regular insulation in some of the other jackets for example the Spyder Amp insulated Ski Jacket, which is pretty warm. For a true comfortable warmth, you should look into the "down fill" jackets. Spyder has the Serenity Down Jacket and the Breakout Down jacket."

"Do you include the collar when you measure the center back? Or do you measure from below the collar? "

Question by Lindsay on 12/18/2011 - 3:11 pm
"We always measure below the collar (the seam where the collar and back meet)."

"I really want this in a size 4 in the blue. You had it yesterday! Can you find it for me?"

Question by Dlhaugen on 12/20/2011 - 3:47 pm
"Unfortunately we do not have this jacket in a blue in size 4 any longer. We can special order certain items though during our off season, provided the vendor has them available."

"Does the Rich Purple have a lime color lining? Also, spyder.com have the jacket as 20k waterproofing - is the jacket you have for sale an older version? Thanks"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Steph B on 8/17/2012 - 4:41 am
"The Rich Purple jacket has the lime color lining as well. I think the lime contrasting looks better with the purple jacket. This is a 2011/2012 style. What you are seeing on the Spyder website is the new 2012/2013 style. We are getting in the new styles at this very moment! Check out our website weekly as we are now updating our site with new arrivals! "

"In terms of warmth, which one would you suggest between the Jesst In Time Ski Jacket and the Spyder Project Insulated Ski Jacket? I'm going to have trouble being warm in -20 Celsius temperature? I live in Canada, so winters are very cold! Thanks! "
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Caroline on 9/2/2012 - 12:08 pm
"Both jackets have 60g PrimaLoft® insulation in them. PrimaLoft® is the highest grade of synthetic insulation in the market. Its very low profile which means that you do not need as much of it to achieve the same amount of warmth as other insulation types. You always want to account what you are wearing underneath the jacket as well. For -20 temps, you should be wearing a baselayer and possibly even a mid layer as well and you should be fine with either of these jackets to get you through the winter!"

"What size is Laura wearing in video? Does it run true to size?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Donna on 10/4/2012 - 8:40 am
"She is wearing a size 4. No need to buy her this jacket. She already has one. :) Spyder runs true to size."
Answer by Jaime (Peter Glenn Staff) on 10/4/2012 - 2:23 pm
"I really want the blue and you only have a size 12 available. I was thinking I might need a 10 but how does this jacket run? I like a fitted look but not tight."
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Diane on 10/10/2012 - 7:36 pm
"Spyder jackets run true to size. If you are going to be wearing a few layers beneath the jacket, the size 12 might work. Look at the sizing chart provided and if a size 10 is what looks like your best fit, that would be the best size to achieve the look you want. If you were to order this jacket in a size 12 and it doesn't fit right, you can always return or exchange the jacket. Please refer to our Return and exchange policy."

"What gloves does Laura wear with this jacket?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by donna on 11/12/2012 - 8:58 am
"Laura is not wearing any gloves in the video. The images that are shown in the video come from Spyder so we do not know which ones they are. I would recommend the Spyder Synthesis GORE-TEX Glove or the Spyder Collection GORE-TEX Glove. "
