"No, the logo is not stitched, it is a print of the logo on the jacket. "

Q:
"Does the down filling come out in feather form and smell like most down jackets?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Kd on 10/20/2014 - 8:09 pm
A:
"Yes, all down jackets do "lose" a few feathers now and then. Regarding the smell, this item will not have a noticeable odor."

Q:
"Is it warm enough and water resistant for skiing/snowboarding?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Alexandra on 10/28/2014 - 12:07 am
A:
"This jacket is very warm as it has down insulation; however, it is only water-resistant. If the down gets wet at all, then it looses its warmth. It also does not dry very quickly so I would not recommend this jacket for skiing or snowboarding unless it's in super dry conditions and you are confident that you would not be falling very often. I'd say this jacket would be better used walking around town on a cold day. "

Q:
"Are the down jackets designed in such a way as to prevent cold air from coming up under the jacket?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by William on 1/5/2015 - 5:17 pm
A:
"They do taper in just slightly at the bottom hem, but there is no interior skirt or anything if that is what you are referring to."

Q:
"What temperature is this coat designed for? "
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by garth on 1/31/2015 - 12:44 am
A:
"It is not temperature rated but we did give this coat a warmth rating of 10/10 so it is a very warm jacket."
Answer by Martha (Peter Glenn Staff) on 2/2/2015 - 4:26 pm
Q:
"How accurate is the sizing for this item? I have a couple of Spyder jackets and they all seem to be sized different. Does this jacket seem to run small/large? "
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by ezra on 3/1/2015 - 4:39 pm
A:
"This jacket has a relaxed fit so I would follow the size chart to see what size would fit you best."
Answer by Martha (Peter Glenn Staff) on 3/2/2015 - 3:54 pm
Q:
"Would this jacket work well as a layering piece underneath a shell or would it be too bulky?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Frank Kancylarz on 8/17/2015 - 3:51 pm
A:
"This jacket is meant to be worn alone and not as a layering piece. It has a 700-fill down making this jacket very warm and not needing any extra insulation. "

Very Pleased with this Jacket!!

I've been wanting to buy this Spyder jacket since last year when I saw it. First off, some reviews say it runs small. I am a true XL, I'm 5'10'' and weigh 210, I workout regularly and have broad shoulders and back. This jacket fit me like a glove. I love it. Looks great, feels great. Buy it you won't be disappointed.

Terrific Jacket

I saw this Spyder jacket in a store when I was traveling to the west coast, but for some reason did not buy it. After thinking about it for a while, I ordered from PG. This down jacket is terrific. It is very lightweight and is not bulky, yet the down-filled jacket keeps you warm. Our temp has not dropped much below the 30s so far this winter, but I am planning on using it through the winter. Nice work Spyder!
