The purpose of the Smith Mission Helmet is to simplify your life, making it easier to focus on what's important on the mountain. It does that by using Aerocore™ construction, a special design using Koroyd® panels that provide the same protection you expect from Smith helmets, but with superior ventilation properties and reduced weight. That ventilation works in tandem with the Regulator Adjustable Climate Control system that lets you fine-tune airflow to suit your needs and the AirEvac2 System that reduces goggle fogging by moving air up and away from your lenses.

"Thank you for you inquiry. The Smith Mission Helmet (Men's) does not feature MIPS technology. However the Smith Maze MIPS Helmet (Men's) does offer the MIPS technology. You can locate it here . We hope this information helps! "
