Safety is essential on the mountain, which is why the Smith Liberty MIPS Helmet packs in all the technology you need to keep your noggin protected. It's designed with a hybrid shell construction that has a durable exterior with an in-molded shell to keep the weight light. For safety, the Liberty uses MIPS® Brain Protection System, which cuts down on rotational forces caused by angled falls, and combines with Zonal Koroyd® to help absorb energy on impact. Together, these systems all work to give you the best in safety. However, that doesn’t mean it skimps on comfort either. The Liberty MIPS Helmet has a moisture-wicking lining to keep you comfortable, removable ear pads for added warmth, and climate control vents so you can boost airflow on those warmer days.
