The Roxy Ready Snowboard Jacket is all set to impress you this winter. This sleek-looking jacket is actually down insulated with 800-fill down making it just about as warm as you can get. Another technology typically unseen in a down coat is the waterproofing. This coat is actually waterproof rated at 20,000mm so you are going to stay dry even if you stay out in a Vermont sleet storm. Down is breathable, so is the shell fabric, and you get venting as well; in the Ready Jacket you can still ride as aggressively as you like without overheating.

"The hood is helmet compatible. The jacket is someone windproof but not 100% like in the Windstopper materials. "

"I forgot to ask about sizing. I am a size 8 jacket, but always size up to a 10 in ski jackets because I am one of those unusually cold people and ALWAYS wear a heavy layer even under my warmest jackets unless I'm spring skiing. Most times a med (8-10) jacket has enough room. My chest meas. is 36" and Roxy's guide for a med is 35-36.5 and lg 37-38.5. Do you think I will need to size up to a large in this model? Thanks..."

"I think you will still have enough room in the medium. This is a down jacket and is EXTREMELY warm already. I would make sure you have the proper next to skin Thermal layer to wick away moister from your body. If you over heat and sweat, you could be wearing the thickest sweater created and still be freezing if you don't have a moisture wicking top!"
