The first thing you'll notice when you put on the Rossignol Speedster STR Ski Jacket is how light and low-profile it is. You'll be surprised to learn that it's well-insulated too. Rossignol used Thinsulate, and they used different weights in different sections of the coat to provide optimal warmth without making you feel bulky. The warmth is mid-range, which offers great flexibility because you can control the temp with what you wear underneath. The Speedster STR Jacket is also very waterproof. At 20K and with fully-taped seams you can be sure that you'll stay dry in this jacket.

"A 42 jacket size typically is a large just double check your body measurements and match them up with the sizing chart. This jacket is going to be warmer than the Spyder Bromont however it will not have as much stretch in the fabric. The Bromont has a lighter and higher quality insulation and will be much shorter in the body."

"The Rossignol brand can fit pretty snug compared to some other brands, so you may want to size up to start. Feel free to check out the size chart that we have provided to see what size Rossignol suggests for you based off of your body measurements. "
