Q:
"What is the inseam on a med Polarmax Quattro pants? I am 5'7" and about 120 pounds. Do they run true to size or should I size up?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by rita on 1/27/2011 - 9:20 am
A:
"The inseam is 30" for a woman. Take a look at the sizing chart. If you like a looser fit go up a size. Other than that, they're pretty true to size, and are designed to fit tight. "

Q:
"Can I wear Hot Chillys underneath without it being too bulky?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Tanya on 3/17/2012 - 9:06 pm
A:
"These pants fit very tight. I do not think you would need to wear any extra thermal underneath them. These are also super warm so unless you are in the arctic you would not need to wear any Hot Chilly's on top of them either. "
Answer by Sarah (Peter Glenn Staff) on 3/20/2012 - 1:25 pm
Q:
"I am going hiking in white mountains, snowshoeing it has been below zero recently and we are going about 7 miles to our destination. I see you feel hot chilli s are not necessary but what about a shell in these conditions?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Lisa on 1/24/2013 - 11:25 pm
A:
"You only need one base-layer, that is why we stated that Hot Chilly's are not necessary when using these pants. You would use one or the other. You could most definitely use a shell on top on of these and stay warm. "

Comments about Polarmax Quattro Baselayer Bottoms Women's, Black, L:

I chose these Polarmax baselayers because I was looking for something warm to wear under my Nils ski pants. These are thin and warm. Pretty true to size but maybe a little small. I orders small and they were certainly snug. The only reason I did not give them a 5 star is because they don't stretch real well. I always go with a small in my baselayer because I want it to be snug. These just don't have much give to them. I probably could have worn a medium and would have been good.
