Q:
"Hi, I'm considering purchasing either the Obermeyer Process or the Obermeyer Quantum ski pant. I have a 33" waist and I need as short an inseam as possible. I have tried on the Process with a regular length (too long). I found that the medium Process was perfect in the waist but tight in the hip/thigh/crotch area. The large was big but fit fairly well. I have not had the chance to try on the Quantum. Given it has a different "cut" which size should I consider in the Quantum and will it be superior. Price is not an issue so I'm interested in buying the best possible overall choice. Thanks."

A:
"Based on the information you have provided we would recommend going with the Medium in the Obermeyer Quantum Insulated Ski Pant in a short inseam. The quantum is a relaxed fit and will give you the room you are looking for that the size Medium in the Process did not have. "

Excellent winter pants for skiing and travel.

Comments about Obermeyer Process Insulated Ski Pant Men's, Black, XL:

Heading to Iceland in winter you need clothing that is waterproof and wind proof and as fast as the weather can change layers and appropriate clothing that can breathe/vent are critical. Also, the Icelandic winds there are unbelievably strong. With 30k waterproof rating and 30k breath ability these pants fit the bill. Peter Glenn offered a good price.

Comments about Obermeyer Process Insulated Ski Pant Men's, Ebony, XL:

Obermeyer makes quality stuff. I wear a 38 x 30 in Jeans and Khaki's and bought the XL Short size. The fit is fine in the hips and legs. Waist size is adjustable, but due to the insulation making the pants a little heavy - you will need a belt ( nylon type is perfect ). I have this paired with the Obermeyer Charger jacket. This is a great set up for Cold weather below 40 degrees.
