That's because these pants are made from a fleece-backed softshell, providing a powerful barrier between them and the elements, while fitting more like regular pants. There's also the Full-Motion™ Articulation, allowing this pant to move with them while they're skiing, snowboarding, or just having fun in the snow. They grow with them too, thanks to the EWS™ built into the lets that lets you extend the leg to extend the life of their pants.
KEY FEATURES- Extended Wear System™, or EWS™, makes it easy to let out a seam at the bottom of the pants and extend the coverage by 2” (5cm) so they don’t grow out of their gear quite so fast
- Full-Motion™ Articulation shapes the pants, especially the knees, for more comfortable wear while skiing, snowboarding, sledding, or just traipsing through the snow
- Fleece-lined soft shell construction provides cozy warmth while sealing out wind and wet weather too
