Beneath this stylish exterior, you’ll find some serious technology, and a surprise or two. The Vortex is actually three jackets. It's an insulated ski jacket composed of a separate shell and liner, each of which do double-duty as stand-alone jackets. The shell is waterproof, breathable, and fully seam-sealed so you'll stay dry. It also has underarm vents, a powder skirt, and other great features that you'd expect from an iconic company like The North Face

"Why doesn't this jacket have a warmth rating?"

"This is a tri-climate jacket which is a bit more difficult for us to give a warmth rating to given the separate pieces involved. With all of the pieces together, creating the ultimate system, we would rate this a 7/10 for warmth. "

"My measurements are 50" chest, 44" waist and 19" neck. Will this jacket work for me? Especially curious about neck size. Thanks."

"A size XXL has a chest of 49-53, a waist of 41-43, and a neck of 18.75. The XXXL has a chest of 54-58, a waist of 44-46, and a neck of 19.75."
