I love these boots! They are very comfortable, very warm, true to size. I got a half size bigger than normal so I could plan on wearing thicker socks with them and I'm glad I did. :) I just got them in September and I'm so excited to see how they work in cold, wet and icy weather. :)

I've had these boots for about a year and they are horrible! I have barely worn them at all and the rubber soles have started coming off! I've worn them in deep snow and I noticed that my feet and socks get soaked with icy water. It's miserable and gross! They are very cute, but I don't care about cute if they aren't practical. I paid a ridiculous amount of money for shoes that fell apart with little use. I called the warranty department and they basically said I can pay to ship them and IF they agree that it's their fault that I can pay for repairs. However, I would be out of boots for weeks possibly in the middle of a bunch of snow storms. I would seriously suggest you invest your money in a company that actually cares about it's customers.

Comments about The North Face Shellista II Mid Insulated Boot Women's, Tarmac Green/Tapenade Green, 8:

I really liked the look of these boots, but when I was buying them, the sales person told me that they only come in a 6 or 7. And I'm a 6.5. They told me that the boots will stretch out to fit my foot, and that the 6 would be the way to go. I've been wearing them for a couple months, they kind of stretched to fit but are still uncomfortable to wear. They are also not good in the snow or in the cold. My toes are constantly frozen even when it's zero degrees and sunny (I'm still walking on snow) Today I was walking in about a 1/4 inch of slush and not only were my feet cold, but it felt like they were wet. I'm really sad about this because I love the look of these boots, just wish that they were better quality.

Comments about The North Face Shellista II Mid Insulated Boot Women's, Tarmac Green/Tapenade Green, 8:

These boots don't keep my feet warm at all! I live in Madison, WI and I've been wearing these boots everyday, but they don't keep my feet warm...which is the whole point of wearing boots! After 5 minutes outside in the snow my toes are FREEZING. The top of the boot also sunk down and now rubs on the tops of toes so I get blisters and hot spots. Going to return them ASAP.

-14 deg Celcius and my toes were freezing!!! Do not disregard those who said that it can not stand the cold weather because they were true! I wouldn't usualy write reviews but I have to to warn you. I only bought it end of December and was tested it fully just this weekend when I stayed outdoor for over 30 mins. If your weather is up to 0 deg then buy these but if not - Don't waste your money on these boots !!!

Comments about The North Face Shellista II Mid Insulated Boot Women's, Tarmac Green/Tapenade Green, 8:

I bought these boots last year before winter; I thought the look was very nice (And it is!) and thought it would be very handy in the cold weather.
Now halfway through the 2nd winter, the tissue has torn apart the plastic part and the water gets in. Plus, since the beginning of the winter this year, the weather has been really cold (-20 and Under), and my feet has been freezing all the time. One time I went out to take a long walk and couldn't feel my toes for an hour after that.
Very disappointing with the quality of it. I won't buy the north face boots anymore.

I bought a winter boot (WOMEN SHELLISTA II MID BOOTS) at the end of November 2017. It did not stand the cold, even saying that it contains 200g of insulation. The worst thing is that today (03/Feb/2018), when taking off the boot I noticed that both feet are uncurled in the part between the rubber and fabric, in the back. I'm definitely very disappointed.

I loved these for a long time, they were very comfortable and kept my feet warm and dry while I commuted to and from work by bus. I've worn these for just under 2 winters and unfortunately they don't last. The rubber base has cracks and several places, and has separated from the cloth part. For the price I was hoping they would hold up for a few more winters... pretty disappointed...

I've noticed that I'm slipping a lot more on ice and snow than I used to in my Sorrel boots. It's like trying to walk in rubber boots. Definitely not worth the price for a winter boot. Very disappointing. Last night I slipped on ice getting out of my truck and my back is a mess today from the fall.

I used this product to optimize outdoor winter activity. After about 3 days they really stopped holding in the heat at the toes. I was sold this product with the expectation that these boots would keep me warm doing things like ice fishing, winter camping, and hiking. They did not even remotely pass the test, and because of this I was absolutely freezing and could barely walk. They're cute, but they do not make the cut in temperatures below 40.

Maybe I got a defective pair (although based on other recent reviews, I'm not sure about that) but I can LITERALLY feel the cold air blowing in over my toes. And I don't mean at -20C, I mean at 0C. I am going to try to return them to the third party store where I bought them as completely useless for winter in a place that actually gets winter.

Is it winter? Is it below 30 degrees F outside? Then don't bother with these boots. Northface has done some serious false advertising with these because they don't act as insulated winter boots at all. They are glorified rain boots. They are not insulated below the ankle at all and your toes WILL freeze in winter weather. You might as well be wearing rubber rain boots in the snow, they might even be warmer! As soon as I get to work I have to take them off and hold my toes to thaw them because they HURT and are numb. I wear 3 pairs of sock with them, one of them being wool mountaineering socks, and they still can't keep my feet warm. If your "winter" boots aren't insulated in the foot you should not be allowed to advertise them as winter boots. It's dangerous.

When I first got the boots I was pretty excited, they fit well and were expected to keep my feet warm in the cold winters we have here in the northwest. However, I am quite saddened to report that these boots do not keep your feet warm to the expected temperatures that are claimed. Within the first day I used them, (and I do not have poor circulation in my feet) in just above zero degree weather (fahrenheit mind you) my feet were frozen. I had even worn wool socks for the occasion.

I have owned North Face products before and I have never had an issue, thus I chose to buy these boots. Worse decision ever, after about a month of wearing them, my feet are always wet and cold! I unfortunately bought these through a 3rd party company onsale before the winter season begain thus my 60 days have passed and cannot return them, what a waste of money considering I now have to but another pair of winter boots to finish off the winter season. Will no longer be buying North Face products. Don't waste your money like I did.

Too small. I wear size 7. Order size 7 too small hurts your foot.
