The North Face Endurus TR Trail Shoe has the cushion of a running shoe and the protection of a hiking boot. So you get serious running technology like the XtraFoam™ Midsole, which puts supportive EVA foam around the perimeter for improved protection and control, while the center of the midsole uses a lower density EVA to reduce weight and give you a cushiony, comfortable run. Underfoot, the Vibram® XS Trek outsole delivers powerful traction on all terrain, and the ESS Snake Plate embedded just inside that stabilizes your foot laterally while allowing for natural forefoot flex and shielding your feet from trail obstacles.
