"A size 14 fits very comfortable but a bit loose. The 12 are great but a little snug. I only use expensive labels. Please let me know if your product runs smaller or bigger. Thank you! "

"Nils typically runs true to size with more of a feminine fit. "

"I bought the Melissa pant in a 4 and it is huge. How does this fit compare? I am not very curvy and hoping perhaps this may be a better fit in a 2. Also is the fabric the same shiny satin as the Melissa?"

Question by DC on 11/11/2013 - 3:19 pm
"If the size 4 Nils was too large, then definitely size down as this is the same brand. The fabric on the Melissa is different as it is shiny, and the Annalise is not. "

"Is there another Nils pant that has the shiny fabric that is more of a fitted style? "

Question by DC on 11/11/2013 - 8:30 pm
"There aren't any other Nils pants that have shiny fabric. If you are looking for a slim and close fitted pant, there is the Nils Lane Stretch Ski Pant which is 93% nylon, and 7% spandex Dermizax stretch fabric, however this material is not shiny. "

"Hi! I ski where it often gets quite wet so I am looking for a pant that will keep me dry. I am a bit confused as I notice that you have rated these pants 9/10 for waterproofing however they are only 8k waterproof."

Question by Al on 2/19/2014 - 7:15 pm
"An 8K for waterproofing does not mean that the pants will get an 8/10 rating. An 8K for waterproofing is plenty so you will stay nice and dry."

"I have the bogner Eli-d jacket in grey and white, parts of the jacket have a sheen to it . Would these pants in black look good with my jacket or would the melissa pants work better as they have a more satiny finish?"

Question by Lee on 3/24/2014 - 11:14 am
"I would recommend the Nils Melissa Insulated Ski Pant because of the fabric. Either pant would work beautifully, however, I think that one makes the jacket pop a bit more!"

This Nils ski pant has a very flattering fit. I wear a 4-6 in pants so I ordered a 6 to leave room for layers. The fit was trim but not tight. I am a cyclist and have thighs and these were not tight, they had stretch and moved beautifully. I was concerned that because they are light and not bulky, that they would not hold warmth but that is not the case. Temps dipped into the 20's and they kept me warm and dry. The tailored fit and satin finish with small zip pockets make these pants look HOT!
