K2 Raygun Snowboard (Men's) -

    Product Details

    Style: B10022

The new twin-tip K2 Raygun Snowboard is for spontaneous boarders who go where the fun is, whether that means dipping into their favorite side stash or sessioning the park. The All-Terrain Rocker is clutch on a wide variety of terrain since it'll lift you above the powder, but also has plenty of pop on hardpack in the park. The Hyper Progressive sidecut is responsive when carving up the steeps, yet smooth enough to butter, and the snappy W1 Core is reinforced with strong Biaxial Fiberglass with carbon-inlay ICG Glass to reduce overall weight. The Hybritaper thin sidewall construction at the tip and tail reduces swing weight so you won't work as hard to make quick turns in deep powder.

    • Shape: Twin
    • Design: All-Mountain Freestyle for versatility

    • All-Terrain Rocker has medium rise at the tip and a lower rise in the tail
    • Hyper Progressive sidecut is responsive, yet smooth
    • Hybritaper thin sidewall at the tip and tail reduces swing weight
    • W1 Core of pure wood for better flex, durability, and snap

"I'm an intermediate snowboarder (mainly slopes, but some park and powder too) and I need to buy a board. I'm goofy (but trying to develop ambidexterity), my boots are 10.5, my bindings are conventional (strap type), my weight is 81kg and I'm 1.85cm tall. My actual budget is about $300. What would be the ideal board for me? Thanks in advance for the enlightenment! Marcos"

"Well you have chosen a perfect board for your needs! This one has a twin shape so you can switch while riding, just make sure that you set the bindings on a V shape instead of setback. Also the flex is mid so the tip and tail will have that pop to hit the park. The camber on this one is non traditional to you can take to the pow with ease. By math the perfect size for you is a 158 however, if you improve a bit the 161 will be just perfect."
