The K2 AMP 76 Ski System is a smooth frontside carving ski that will help you get to the next level of skiing. If you want to be able to make perfect turns with lots of power, the AMP 76 will get you there. K2 gave this ski lots of features that make it easy to turn, without compromising the stability, so you can start to ride faster. Glass Web, triaxial fiberglass, and the MOD suspension system keep the ski stable in the carve, but don't compromise the flex of the ski. This means that it won't be as stiff as a 2x4 when you're trying to turn it. On the AMP 76 you'll be carving up the entire mountain with ease.

Q:
"I'm an intermediate to advanced skier and ski 80 percent blue and 20 percent black. I'm 5'7" and 187 lbs. should I buy the 170 or 163? What boot would you recommend?"

A:
"We recommend going with the 163! Ski boots are best if fitted in store, so that they may take your specific measurements. For a medium foot width we would recommend the Tecnica Ten.2 90 Ski Boot and the Lange SX 80 Ski Boot ."

Q:
"I am looking at Solomon 80 TI skis with all the bells and whistles. How does this ski compare to those? Want a ski that is all mountain, easy to turn and move from advanced intermediate to expert? ?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Some Guy on 2/18/2016 - 6:00 pm
A:
"This Amp 76 is more of a novice ski than the Salomon 80 TI, which was designed for a more demanding rider who is progressing in skill. Seeing as you are an advanced skier, we highly recommend the Salomon 80 TI."

Q:
"I'm an advanced beginner / early intermediate skier, 6'2", 180 pounds. Will the 170 be a good length for me in this ski? or do I need to go longer because of the rocker in the tip?"

Question by Tim on 3/10/2016 - 6:16 am
A:

Comments about K2 AMP 76 Ski System with Bindings Men's, 170:

I got the 163 cm, and it is exactly as tall as me (5'8''). The colors on this k2 ski system are even better in person. The bindings come off of the skis, but look difficult to put on, but, they look quality. They have a great finishing on them as well. I was very happy I got this, and I will update after I hit the slopes.
