Q:
"I typically wear an XS or 2-4. Will the S be too big for me since it's a relaxed fit? Should I buy the kids' L or XL perhaps?"

Question by Zelda on 11/26/2011 - 9:56 pm
A:
"The chest size for a womens XS is 30"-31". A childs XL is 33"-35". I would suggest going with the XS in womens. This will also ensure that the sleeves are long enough."

"I am 6ft tall and I don't see any talls in the PB30707 OR THE MATCHING PANTS. I wear a large tall 33 inch or 34inch inseam. Wondering if these will have long enough sleeves and inseam for me."

"We do not have these in a tall length. They should still work for you. You may want to size up to the XL. Check the sizing chart for the best fit."

Q:
"I bought a size small in the Polarmax mid weight 4 way stretch baselayer top and it fits fine. Should I go with a small for the Hot Chillys Double Layer baselayer top as well? Do they fit the same? "
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Brand on 11/13/2013 - 3:43 pm
A:
"I looked into it and I show that if you are a size small in the Polarmax then you would be a size extra small in the Hot Chillys. The Polarmax does tend to run small so you usually need to size up in that brand."

Q:
"I will be traveling to Denver this February. Will this top be enough under a Burton jacket with GORE-TEX®? Or will additional layers be needed?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Caroline on 1/23/2014 - 9:48 am
A:
"There's a bit more information that we need in order to answer this for you. GORE-TEX® is not insulation, so just because the jacket has GORE-TEX® does not mean that it has additional warmth. Some Burton jackets are warmer than others, so we would need to know which Burton jacket you are wearing. Some jackets are just shells (with no insulation in them) in which case this one layer would not be enough to keep you warm in Feb temps in Denver. If you jacket has insulation, then depending on the conditions each day, you may be able to get away with just this one layer under your jacket. "
