Q:
"Hello, My kid uses size 6 (he is 6 years old) what size will it be in top and bottom?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Macilia on 9/11/2011 - 12:29 pm
A:
"Hi Macilia! For a size 6 I would get a size small. It will fit really well and gives the child some room to grow! You would be able to use the garment for a longer period of time without your child outgrowing it."

Q:
"I am a size medium in women's - waist is 28 and hips of 36 with an inseam of 28. I was looking at the hot chilly thermal for women but someone asked about the length and was suggested to look at the kids size. What size would I be in kids, given my measurements? thanks"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by curious on 12/15/2011 - 9:38 pm
A:
" I do not have a waist/hip size for the youth but it looks like the size XL would have an inseam of 28-30 for a youth height of 5'0-5'2". The Women's small size has an inseam of 28-29, hip of 35-36 and a waist of 26-27. It looks like most of your measurements would fit in a small but the waist might be a bit tight."

Q:
"My son's base layer bottoms are tight around his legs when pulled up above his ski boots. I cannot find a 3/4 length like I wear, so I'm looking for an alternative. His current bottoms are just generic size M cotton thermals and one pair of size M Hot Chillys. He complains that both pairs are too tight around his legs. He wears a size 8/10 in jeans. He does have very muscular legs. Any advice?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Jen on 4/17/2014 - 1:13 pm
A:
"We currently do not have any 3/4 length baselayer bottoms for kids. I would recommend trying the size large to see how those work for him. Also, he should not be skiing with the baselayer pulled up. His baselayer should be at his ankle and inside of his ski boot when skiing. "
