"What is the difference between this and the helly hansen alpha infinity jacket? I can see that this is more insulated and an inch longer. But how much heavier is it? Does it have vents? Are hood and snow skirt detachable? I am unable to find this on the helly hansen site so I would appreciate any details you can provide so I can decide between the 2 jackets. Thanks; LMN"

"The Alpha Infinity seems to be more of an all-around performer. The Kitzbulhel weighs about 8oz more, the hood and skirt are adjustable, but not removeable."
