Question by Chris on 10/1/2020 - 11:09 pm
A:
"Based on the given measurements of chest 42 inches and waist 36-38 inches. I would recommend a size large in Helly Hansen. Helly Hansen runs true to size. We hope this information helps. "

Q:
"I'm 6 foot 185-190. My waist is 33-34. Which size is best?"

Question by Todd on 12/11/2021 - 9:03 pm
A:
"Thank you for your inquiry! The most important measurement for jackets would be your chest measurements. However, according to the Helly Hansen Size Chart a 34 waist would fit best in either a size Small or medium. For layering purposes, we would advise to go up a size in this jacket, so maybe a medium (waist size 34-36in) would be best for you. I hope this information helps!"

Q:
"Would you mind comaparing this to the Steilhang 2.0? Thanks."
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by peter on 11/17/2022 - 3:27 pm
A:
"The Steilhang 2.0 is a slightly more robust version of the Alpha LIFALOFT. The Steilhang is more breathable and waterproof at 20k/20k as opposed to the Alpha's 11k/11k. The Alpha has LIFALOFT insulation (lighter, less bulky and 'similar' warmth) and the Steilhang has PrimaLoft. "
