Protection is top shelf, from the MIPS technology which provides extra protection from high-angle impacts, to the Hammerhead design that puts extra defense over the most vulnerable parts of your head. Speaking of vulnerable areas, the removable chinbar makes sure you don't take a gate in the face when racing slalom, or you can remove it so you don't look like a poser while you're just lapping the mountain after your race.
