The name is simple, but the goal of the Elan Snow Womens Skis is a simple one so that’s pretty appropriate. These are the skis that take you out of the rental queue and onto the mountain, with a long-lasting construction that means they might not just be your first skis, they could be your last as well. Specifically there’s a Mono Woodcore that uses real wood from end to end, giving this ski long-lasting performance and snappy response. But it’s balanced with a Full Power Cap construction featuring Groove Tip Technology, balancing that strength with an easy flex pattern that is easy to control. Additional confidence comes from the Parabolic Rocker profile, which uses traditional camber under your feet to maintain stability and edge hold on hardpack, but includes a bit of rocker at either end for enhanced agility.

    • Parabolic Rocker makes turning easier by engaging the edge earlier, enhancing your skills and encouraging good form
    • Groove Tip Technology sculpts the core of the ski for easier end to end flex while maintaining edge-to-edge support

"I'm not sure if I should get this ski or the womens element? I'm still learning how to get the skis up on edge when turning and stick to mostly mellow blue runs."

"For a beginner to intermediate, we agree and I would suggest the Element because it is a cambered ski (easier to use) than the Snow which is a full-rocker ski. "
