Occupying a space somewhere between "freeride" and "touring", the Elan Ripstick 96 Black Edition Ski is a great pick if you're looking for a little bit of everything. They're built using Elan's exclusive Amphibio technology, which gives either edge of each ski a unique shape, helping you turn faster and harder with uncompromised stability and rebound. And that's aided by the Carbon Line Technology, which reinforces the TubeLite Core to give you a more focused and precise ride. Add in the QuadRod Reinforcement and you have a ski that's capable of giving you uncompromised performance on a wide variety of conditions.

Q:
"Trying to decide on the size to order for the Elan Ripstick 96 Black. I'm 5'9" 150 lbs and tend to like a shorter ski. Elan's website shows these skis in sizes 167 and 174, and I figured 167 would be good. Your site, however, shows them as 164 and 172. Please let me know if those are the sizes you have for the current model, and which you would recommend. Thanks."

A:
"The sizes that we have for the current model is 164 and 172. After talking with a technician he would recommend the 172 for stability at higher speeds. If you tend to be a cautious skier, he would lean towards the 164 though. Hope this information helps"
