Built to get you on the mountain and having more fun, the Elan Element Ski System with ELW 9 GW Bindings is an obvious upgrade from the rental shop, because they're built with a Dual Woodcore that sends stringers of real wood up the edges to give you greater support and response, reinforced with Fiberglass Laminates to get the most out of the Parabolic Rocker profile that's agile and stable at the same time. You can even see some of the technology through the topsheet, specifically the Groove Technology that softens the ski end-to-end, improving control and confidence, while maintaining efficient edge-to-edge power transfers when carving.

"Depending on terrain preference and youth in your knees, a 158-168cm is a great range. Shorter if you prefer trees and moguls and/or looking to take strain off of knees, longer if you prefer groomers, alpine terrain, or going fast(er). "
