"Looking to purchase a pair of skis for my wife. I'm on the fence when choose between these and the Volkl Adora Skis. She's an intermediate skier, 5'7", 140 pounds. What size and model would you recommend? Also, do the bindings ship disassembled from the skis?"

"Both are great ski choices for your wife. We would recommend a size 153 in the Volkl Adora Ski system if she will be skiing mostly on groomers. For the Elan Black Magic Ski System we would recommend a size 158, if she will be doing more all mountain skiing and some groomers. The bindings do not come assembled onto the skis. This is to protect the bindings from being damaged during the shipping process."
