Product Details

Waist Width

Rocker/Camber Hybrid: Uses rocker in certain zones of the ski, typically the tip, tail, or both. Great, versatile choice, offering good grip on hardpack, some float in soft snow, and easy turn initiation and transitions.

80-89: Good float in powder; typically still carve pretty well

Style: DAEH301

"High performance" no longer means "hard to ride" thanks to the Dynastar Powertrack 84 Ski. The All Mountain Rocker profile blend the benefit of powerful camber underfoot for greater control and energy return when carving with the easy mobility of moderate rocker at either end. The Progressive 5 Point Sidecut is not a continuous radius like other skis, so you get sharp turn in that's easy to put on edge in the nose, smooth flat stability at the waist, and effortless smearing in the tapered tail.

"I am trying to decide between Dynastar Powertrack 84 in 176 and the Rossignol Experience 84 in 178 (I'm 183 cm, 198 pounds and an advanced intermediate skier). I'm wondering about any general advice you have on which of these would be more suitable. One concern I have about the RE84 is how far forward to recommended binding mark is. It leave a LOT of tail that could get caught up in moguls, which I'm just trying to learn to ski. And I'm worried that the Dynastar might not be quite enough ski for me."

"These skis are so similar you could put one on either foot and not even notice. There are tiny differences in the skis, like the honeycomb tip in the Experience 84 for a lighter swing weight, or slightly better edge grip on the Powertrack 84, but otherwise the skis are virtually the same. Either one you choose will be a great ski for seasons to come."
