The Connelly 70" HP Waterski with Swerve Binding and Rear Toe Piece looks fun, and that's exactly what you get once you get them on the water. They use C.A.P.T. and a Recreational Glass Flex Sequence to tune the ski, giving you extra power and hold near the edges to help the Standard Tunnel built into the Acrylam Base really bite in, while also allowing the Polyurethane Resin Core to provide consistently smooth flex for effortless control. Pair that with the included Swerve Binding and rear toe piece and it's never been easier to hop in the water and have some fun.

    • Connelly Advanced Profile Technology (C.A.P.T.) uses the shape and structure of the ski to reinforce and tune the flex pattern
    • Standard Tunnel design helps the ski ride lower for greater edge hold with a broad, flat riding surface
    • Includes Connelly Swerve Binding with a rear toe strap (Size L/XL)
    • Closed Cell Polyurethane Resin Core guarantees buoyancy while providing a light and durable construction
    • Recreational Glass Flex Sequence is a tuned fiberglass laminate that gives this ski excellent response while making it easier to control
    • Acrylam Base improves durability while providing a smooth, steady ride
    • Drop-Through Aluminum Fin gives this ski a powerful bite with durable construction
    • 70” length (approximately 178cm)
    • Designed for riders over 220lbs (99 kg)
    • Works best at boat speeds between 28 and 34 mph (45 and 54 kmh)
    • Made in the USA at Connelly’s Pacific Northwest Factory
    • Open toe design allows Swerve Binding to quickly and easily drain water
    • EVA Support and a Lycra lining provide a comfortable hold with improved cushion
    • Simple single-zone lacing makes slipping into the ski easy, even while you’re in the water

"I am 6'4" tall, 210 lbs., been skiing for 40 years. I am looking at the Connelly 70" vs HO Omni 69" Wide ski. Would you recommend I go for the regular 69" or the 69" Wide, or maybe a Carbon Omni? Please let me know if you have anything on sale. Do you suggest an older 2022 or 2023 model?"

"Thanks for the question. It's really up to you between this and the Omni to be fully honest. It really depends on the amount of performance you are looking for in a ski. This ski is going to be a little more on the beginner/intermediate side with a nice easy feel overall on the water. The Omni is a little more aggressive ride compared to the Connelly and if you did the carbon it would be even MORE aggressive, especially out of your turns. As for the "wide" version, I could be wrong but I think HO has dropped it for 2024 because the Omni itself is already a slightly wider ski overall compared to most traditional width skis. "
