Question by jim on 10/5/2013 - 6:10 pm
"Our ratings are based on a number of factors. One of them is water sitting on the jacket, like snow does when it accumulates on the shoulders and chest area. The longer it takes for the water to be absorbed by the material the higher the rating for water proofing. This jacket will still keep you warm and dry, but not as well as an outer shell jacket. "

"The picture with the model wearing it would be the accurate color. It is more of a blue-violet, sort of in between purple and blue. "
