The Burton Ion Step On® Boa Snowboard Boot combines two great things, one a long-time favorite and the other a new innovation. You get the classic Ion performance, with a Life Liner that uses Tuff Cuff Lite and DRYRIDE Heat Cycle™ technology combining support and comfort while the Firm Flex PowerUP Tongue ensures all of your energy flows through the Vibram® EcoStep outsole down to the snow. On top of that, it uses Burton’s Step On® Technology, which uses two hooks at the front and a cleat on the Step On® Backstay to attach directly to Step On® Compatible bindings. That allows you to get riding quicker after unloading the lift, and also allows the Snugger Strap to use it’s Boa® to help you dial in uncompromised heel hold for the best performance possible.
