Stronger and more responsive, the Burton Cartel X Re:Flex™ Snowboard Binding is an upgraded version of an already excellent piece of kit. Featuring a baseplate made using more than the regular amount of short-glass fibers, you get a stronger foundation allowing for more energy to transfer between you and your board more quickly. Helping harness that strength is the Hammockstrap™ Ankle Strap, an advanced two-piece design that mirrors the Heel Hammock built into the Asymmetric Hi-Back. Together they match the contour of your boot, giving you a more secure hold that still manages to be more comfortable than old-school textile-and-foam straps.
