The Burton 2.5L Slick jacket is your wet-weather companion from summer to winter. This jacket is lightweight and packable enough to keep with you for summer hikes, fall climbs, winters in the backcountry, and spring in the slush. The Slick jacket seals out moisture but stays breathable, so you can ski, hike, or whatever else you like to do without your sweaty vapors building up inside the jacket. Layer under it in winter, pack it to keep with you in summer. Either way, you’re dry and good to go.

"is this jacket a winter jacket suitible for skiing in?"

"While you can certainly ski in this, it is not a winter jacket. It's designed to keep moisture out, so depending on your comfort level and what temps you'll be in, you can layer under this accordingly to keep warm. This would not suitable for harsh winter temps though."

"I went to a Peter Glen store to try on jackets. I'm size up on the chart as a medium which makes me think I should get a size L with the jacket. The lady in the store said I should even consider an XL for space. I'm confused on which size I should buy. If I need a bigger size, can I bring it back to a local store to exchange?"

"I would go with a Large. Yes, as long as the jacket is not worn and has all original tags, you can bring it in to a store along with your order invoice for a return/exchange within 30 days. "
