Boulder Gear's BG Ultracore Protection offers a 10K waterproof rating and critically taped seams for protection in snowy conditions, while 160g of insulation and a soft tech fleece on the center back and collar offers reliable warmth. The Squall has a removable hood, thumbhole wrist gaiters, adjustable cuffs, a powder skirt, and a drawcord at the hem to keep out the snow and cold air as a squall passes through the trees in the backcountry.
