Q:
"I have a few questions about the bindings. What is the difference between the 4.5 and 7 bindings? How do you decide - specifications for each binding? Also, if feet grow, are these bindings adjustable without damaging the ski?"

A:
"The differences between the two would be the age of the child. The Blizzard Viva IQ 4.5 Ski System with Bindings would be for a child under the age of 8. The Blizzard Viva IQ 7 Ski System with Bindings would be for girls 8+. The number 4.5 and 7 refer to the din range for the binding. The binding is adjustable as they grow into larger boots. You would need to take the ski to a local store to have the settings adjusted as they grow."

Q:
"I am looking at the Blizzard Viva IQ 7 ski system with bindings (girls') for a Christmas present for my daughter. The description indicated the bindings are built into the skis. What size boots can fit into these bindings? There must be some sort of range, but it's not listed anywhere. Thank you, Chris"

A:
"Boot size is not specified with the binding as it is adjustable by a tech in a local shop. The IQ 7 is for a young rider with a weight of approx 50-150lbs. If they are smaller than that, then they need the Blizzard Viva IQ 4.5 Ski System. "
