Profile Waist Width

Rocker/Camber Hybrid: Uses rocker in certain zones of the ski, typically the tip, tail, or both. Great, versatile choice, offering good grip on hardpack, some float in soft snow, and easy turn initiation and transitions.

90-99: Good float in powder; typically still carve pretty well

Style: 8A8094

You can ride it anytime anywhere, but the Blizzard Bonafide Skis are designed for optimists because they're at their best when conditions are too. On deep days the Rocker Camber Rocker Profile shines, offering plentiful float while the Carbon Flipcore Construction keeps your tips up while reducing vibration and chatter. But since you can't always get bottomless powder days, there is a sensible camber section directly underfoot maintaining edge hold and stability on hardpack. Also underfoot is a Carbon+Ti Binding Interface, which reinforces the skis where you mount your bindings, allowing for more efficient energy transfer in both direction while providing valuable reinforcement to improve the durability of the skis.

"The Blizzard Bonafide Skis performed as advertised. They have incredible grip and edge hold right out of the box. I skied some of the most variable and nastiest conditions in them at Squaw including breakable crust with intermittent sheets of solid ice. Usually, I will pull up a little when encountering glass ice after coming off of something softer, but these things just stayed glued the snow. Part of that is they were sharp, but one noticeable thing was how quiet they were on the firm stuff... I mean literally, you don't hear a thing.

The downside for me is that they feel like a downhill ski. Stable and fast but like you are strapped to them and along for the ride. I was able to ski them straight through a pretty hardcore bump course, but there is no leaving the ground, buttering, olllying, skiing backward or any of the playful stuff I like to do besides going fast.

I would describe them as an old downhiller ski which explains why they do well in the ski mag tests because all those guys are old downhillers! Boom! I will expect a jab back. I skied them in both a 184 and a 187. I liked the 187 better. I felt the 184 was too soft for me."

"Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend any binding with a 100 MM Brake Width. We hope this information helps!"
