Built to bring Legendary Hawx Feel into the backcountry, the Atomic Hawx Prime XTD 120 CT GW Ski Boot delivers on every promise that plus-sized name makes. The "CT" stands for "Complete Tech", meaning you get full tech inserts at the toe and heel for compatibility with pin-style touring bindings, and of course, "GW" means you get high-traction GripWalk Outsoles. But the real treat is the XTD, or extended range of motion allowed by the Free/Lock 4.0 ski-hike mode built into the Energy Backbone. Unlocking extra articulation allows for effortless uphill strides through the frictionless pivot joining the two TruFlex pieces of the boot, and ensures solid support locked into ski mode for the downhill.
