For starters, the Sierra has a traditional bib design so they don’t have to worry about sagging pants that let snow inside. It has adjustable elastic shoulder straps for improved comfort, along with a front zip that makes on, off easy. The 2-layer infiDRY® fabric is rated at 10K waterproof and has a DWR coating and critically taped seams to block out the elements. They also have 120g of infiLoft™ insulation to keep them warm on colder days. The 686 Sierra Insulated Bib also has some added comfort features like stretch side panels for added mobility, a double layer fabric on the inner kick panel for improved durability, and plenty of pockets for all their essentials.
