    "We refer to the "boys" category typically for ages 7- 20 which would fall under the title of "youth" in the sizing chart. The "kids" sizing chart are for typically for children 6- 1 which on our site is referred to as "toddler." The measurements of your child will determine which category he fall under and whether you should shop for "boys" or "toddler boys". Thanks and I hope this was helpful! "

    "This is a warm fleece jacket however it is not windproof or water proof. It would be good for a layer under a shell jacket or for spring or fall days."
