"The rechargeable batteries are built into the boot. There is an access point were you can connect the charger. Although the required charge time is not specified by the manufacturer, it usually needs just a few hours to provide up to 9 hrs of heat radiation. "

"The battery is designed for over 400 charges and discharges. The boot has a warranty of 36 months, if the battery fails within that period of time the manufacturer will replace the boot. The battery itself is not replaceable."

"Unfortunately the manufacturer has not given us that particular information. I would suggest charging the batteries before placing them in storage as it would give you the maximum amount of storage time off season."
