The Volkl RTM 81 Ski System combines a full rocker from tip to tail with vibration dampening for an effortless experience all over the mountain. But don’t let the silky smooth feel fool you; the Extended Sensor Wood Core allows for extreme precision when carving. Steel reinforcement ups the torsional stiffness, allowing you to bring the RTM 81 up to speed without losing stability. These are fun men's skis, designed to cover the whole mountain with ease.

"This is an all rocker ski. Based on your measurements, you would be approximately a 174-176 in ski sizing!"

"Currently skiing on Vokl T-50 at 176. How would the RTM 81 compare and what size would you recommend?"

Question by PJ on 3/4/2015 - 1:05 pm
"We have never carried the T50 to compare for you. This is an all mountain ski and if you are currently doing well on 176, then this all mountain ski should be fine in the same size for you. "
Answer by Martha (Peter Glenn Staff) on 3/5/2015 - 11:10 am
"I'm 5'-9" and 165 pounds, intermediate-advanced skier (spend most of my time on double blues with the occasion black) I am going to get the RTM 81 but I am torn on whether to go with 166 or 171 cm? My current skis are 166 and I am very comfortable on them but not sure if I should go up to the 171 due to the full rocker factor?"

"Using all of the specs you provided it actually seems like the 171's would be a better fit for you. If you feel like you are advancing, that would be the way to go. "
