"Looking to purchase this ski for a fellow worker about to retire and would like to know what binding you would recommend. Binding must match in form, function and color. And what is the price? (Marker Wide Ride)?? He is 6-2 and 190lbs expert skier. I believe a 184 would be perfect for him. (Package Deal???) Thanks in advance, Don M Thanks Don M"

The bindings are not sold with this particular ski that you are looking at to purchase for your friend. "Hi - I am 5'10 190lbs advanced/expert skier. I skied The Vokl Mantra 170s this past winter and really enjoyed them but am wondering if given my height, weight and skiing ability I might be better served skiing on the 177. I am fortunate to be able to back country and powder a fair bit as well. Any difference between the 170 and 177 in those conditions? Any thoughts would be most appreciated. Thanks"

"For anytime spent in the backcountry or powder, you will want the extra but of ski to help you float. So go with the 177. If you only stick to groomers and want much faster and easier turns, then go with the 170."
