How thick/heavy is this shirt? I'm looking for a lightweight half-zip for chilly mornings. I have several heavier half-zips I wear XC skiing or on really cold mornings (typically with a t-shirt under it and a jacket over it). I'm looking for something I can wear with just a wind vest when it's cold (40s) but not freezing.

This is a lightweight thermal that is used as a baselayer. It sounds like it would work really well with what you are looking for!
